About the Kyokushin Fight Academy Foundation
The Kyokushin Fight Academy Foundation was founded in 2025 by Vijay Nanhoe, head trainer of the Kyokushin Fight Academy and a graduate in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University.
With this foundation we want to use the power, discipline and connection of karate to bring people together.
Our goal is clear:
Making Kyokushin karate and other self-defense sports accessible to everyone — regardless of age, background, or financial situation.
The foundation is led by a dedicated board:

Our Mission
The Kyokushin Fight Academy Foundation's mission is to use the power of Kyokushin karate as a tool for personal growth, connection, and equal opportunities.
We want everyone, regardless of age, background or financial situation, to have the opportunity to train, learn and grow in a safe and inspiring environment.
Through sports, education, and community projects, we encourage respect, discipline, and self-confidence so that every participant can discover their own strengths—both inside and outside the dojo.
