Our Policy

Exercising at Kyokushin Fight Academy is a source of enjoyment and satisfaction. Unfortunately, the emotions involved in sports can sometimes escalate into unsportsmanlike or inappropriate behavior. Examples include aggressive fighters, conflicts between members, and even unwanted touching. To prevent these situations, we have developed a policy that guarantees safety and enjoyment at our karate club. Our policy includes anti-bullying measures, a code of conduct for volunteers, a declaration of intent against sexual harassment, and the appointment of a confidential counselor.

Anti-Bullying Policy

Bullying is unfortunately a widespread problem in society. At Kyokushin Fight Academy, we regularly address this issue in our classes to raise awareness and prevent bullying. For more information, download our anti-bullying policy.

Declaration of Intent Against Undesirable Behavior

The declaration of intent is intended to ensure a safe environment within our sports club. We will discuss sexual harassment and other forms of inappropriate behavior, inform all involved about our policy, minimize the risk of incidents, and ensure appropriate handling should they occur. The full declaration of intent is available here.

Code of Conduct for Volunteers

Boundaries in contact between trainers and underage members are not always clear. What is comfortable for one child can be uncomfortable for another. Therefore, we have established a code of conduct that contributes to an open, transparent, and safe environment for both children and volunteers. This code of conduct, which all volunteers sign, outlines the rules for acceptable behavior and how to address sexually inappropriate behavior. The code of conduct is available here.

Trusting others
